East Bay Chinese School is an online Mandarin school for school aged children who are interested in learning Mandarin Chinese. We were established in 1981. Our student body is consisted of both native Chinese speaking families and non-Chinese heritage families. Our language classes are split into 2 class periods on Saturdays and one class period on a weeknight during the school year.

East Bay Chinese School teaches Chinese with Pinyin. Students may choose either a traditional or simplified textbook and workbook.

In addition, we have partnered with Piedmont Language School to offer after school Mandarin classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20-4:20pm at Piedmont Middle School.
