East Bay Chinese School

East Bay Chinese School is proud to partner with Piedmont Language School(PLS) in offering in-person Mandarin classes. The PLS Mandarin 3 class is for more advanced learners and signifies a more academic chapter in language learning.

30 minutes of weekly homework is consistently assigned. The goal is "what can you do with the language that you learn", and with this in mind, our focus is on learning more practical and functional Mandarin.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20-4:20pm at Piedmont Middle School(classroom tbd). Instructional calendar will follow the Piedmont Unified School District calendar and it's noted holidays and non-instruction days. Semester 1: September 10th - December 19th. Semester 2: January 7th - May 16th.

No classes will be held the week of Thanksgiving(week of November 18th), Winter Break(weeks of December 23rd and December 30th), President's Week(week of February 17th), and Spring Break(week of April 7th).
